    Event Safety and Responsibility

The TTS 2022 Congress will proceed as a hybrid event with the opportunity of attending in person or virtually. The health and well-being of our Congress attendees remain our foremost priority. We are committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment in which to learn. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, TTS staff, service providers and others are expected to abide by our code of conduct and policies in effect for the event.

You can visit the Argentine Ministry of Health website (in Spanish only) for the most updated information and precautionary measures in the country (click here).

We will continue to regularly monitor and update safety precautions for TTS 2022 and coordinate with trusted national resources, state and local public health agencies, and the hotels/venues hosting the event.

Please be aware that safety protocols may change as the situation evolves.

Mask requirements

Wearing a mask at TTS 2022 is encouraged for all participants, regardless of vaccination status.

Vaccination requirements

All participants registered to attend TTS 2022 Congress in person, whether as presenters, attendees, exhibitors, staff, guests, or vendors are required to be fully vaccinated.

"Full vaccination" means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of FDA- or WHO-authorized (or emergency-use authorized) double- or single-dosed vaccines.

"Up to Date" means a person has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.
In addition to being fully vaccinated, we strongly encourage all attendees who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 booster to do so at least 15 days prior to attending the event.

Proof of vaccination may be required to gain access to TTS 2022 and the networking events.

Testing requirements

Although it is not a mandatory requirement, TTS 2022 strongly encourages individuals to be tested for COVID prior to traveling to the Congress, especially if they are experiencing symptoms or are asymptomatic but have been in close contact with someone who tested positive.

Individuals who test positive should stay home and cancel their registration. TTS 2022 will refund the registration fee, less an administration fee of USD 50, for any participants who are unable to attend in person due to COVID-19 and provide a positive test result within 14 days of the start of the Congress.

TTS 2022 and its organizational partners are not liable for expenses related to cancellation or amendments of travel arrangements or other financial commitments made by participants as they plan to attend TTS 2022. We strongly encourage anyone making travel arrangements to purchase travel insurance or other protections as required.

Testing sites are located within walking distance from the Congress Centre. Directions will be provided.

Your hotel concierge may also be able to recommend companies to arrange an on-demand testing service within the convenience of your hotel room.

On-site testing at the Congress Centre may also be available.

Physical distancing

The Congress Centre does not currently require physical distancing. Whilst TTS 2022 will make additional efforts to alleviate any potential congestion in high-traffic areas, we cannot guarantee the provision of physically-distanced seating and event space setup. Participants are asked to avoid congestion to the extent practicable.
To help attendees communicate their level of comfort in interacting with one another, TTS 2022 will provide a ribbon for onsite attendees who prefer to maintain social distancing.
