IMPORTANT UPDATE: Argentina has recently lifted the requirement to complete the Declaration Jurado or Sworn Statement before travelling.

Proof of travel insurance covering COVID-19 related costs is also no longer mandatory. Nonetheless, we do recommend delegates to have travel and health insurance when travelling to Argentina from overseas.

There are no vaccination or testing requirements currently in force for travelers entering Argentina. However, if you are transiting via a different country, it is important that you check the regulation with your airlines.

Haven’t booked your air ticket yet? If you fly with Aerolíneas Argentinas you can get special discounts when you purchase online.

The biggest airport in Argentina, Ministro Pistarini International Airport, is located in Ezeiza, 32km (20 miles) from the city center. Most long-haul international flights arrive and depart from here, along with some domestic and regional flights. The journey from the airport to the city takes about 50 minutes, depending on traffic.

There are private transportation companies with stands operating in Ezeiza. We suggest the company “Manuel Tienda León” who has a kiosk inside the airport. Transfers can be booked upon arrival or in advance (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

If you wish to arrange private airport transfers in advance, you can also contact our travel agency:

Also, there is a taxi agency with a stand at the airport, “Taxi Ezeiza Oficial”, where transfers can also be arranged upon arrival. As a rule of thumb, ignore anyone who approaches you inside the terminal, trying to persuade and entice you with 'lower prices' and 'no queue.'

Official, licensed taxis accept credit card and cash payments.

To collect your Congress badge on-site, please ensure that you have a copy of your registration confirmation email and a valid photo ID. If you prefer not to carry your original ID a photocopy or a photo of your passport is sufficient.
